Welcome

Troop 772 was chartered in 1969 and has been in continuous operation ever since. Our main focus is on the Boy Scout outdoor activity program, with a Backpacking, Hiking, or Camping outing planned for each month. The Troop is run by the Scouts, namely the Patrol Leaders Council, headed by the Senior Patrol Leader. They are advised by an experienced corps of Assistant Scoutmasters.

Troop 772 meets every Tuesday night at 7:30 pm at John Knox Presbyterian Church, 505 Powers Ferry Road, Marietta. We occasionally have a special meeting at an alternate location or no meeting near holidays, so please contact us to confirm if you'd like to visit. (email)

The Scout Oath

On my honor I will do my best
To do my duty to God and my country
and to obey the Scout Law;
To help other people at all times;
To keep myself physically strong,
mentally awake, and morally straight.

In Troop 772, we work hard to guide our scouts in living the Scout Oath. We do this in a way that is both fun and challenging. If you're interested in becoming a Boy Scout, please look around our site and arrange to come to one of our meetings. Visitors are always welcome.
